So there was a plan for Iraq…
This is a very interesting article about what went wrong in Iraq. It argues quite convincingly that the argument that there was no plan for the aftermath of invading that country is wrong. There was, instead, a plan of devastating consistency, although it didn’t work out quite as planned. I can only hope that this is enough to thoroughly and finally discredit the thinking that lay behind it, although that’s probably too much to hope for.

...and that’s just it: Laying out honey and waiting for flies isn’t really a plan. After privatizing whatever can be privatized, there’s no real next action. It’s up to the invisible hand to figure out what to do next…
