Dick Askey
Richard Askey is a mathematician at the University of Wisconsin who has gotten deeply involved in issues related to school mathematics. He talked about the key role that Harold’s cross-national research played in laying a basis for mathematics reform in the United States. In some ways, I was most impressed that he came, because he’s neither a psychologist nor someone with a long or personal connection with Harold.
