Here’s a list of the most widely subscribed-to newspapers in the world. The newspaper I read every day, The New York Times, comes in at #42, which is still ahead of my favorite Chinese newspaper Qingnian Bao at #49. Although the Chinese circulation numbers are suspiciously round.

I don’t see how “僵” gets translated as “topple over” though—I thought it meant something more like “stiff.”

I just discovered that the Google “dictionary: X” works with Chinese characters. It seems I’m right.

Wenlin translates “死而不僵” as “dead, but showing no [...]

I’ve been dealing with a broken miniPc manufactured by Iwill USA. It died about a year ago, and they sent us a new motherboard. That failed to fix the problem—it had killed the CPU and memory as well. I sent the whole thing back and got it back today, minus a few parts. [...]
