Timely Snow

I watched “Once upon a time in Mexico” on a cheap (~$1.25) DVD I bought down at the corner store. It was obviously made by someone taking a camera into a showing of the movie (you could see people walk past the screen on occasion and it was too dark), but the quality was still better than the VCDs I’ve seen.

The movie itself had its moments. I was particularly taken with one character’s query: “Are you a Mexican or a Mexican’t? This is something that works for surprisingly many attributions?

Are you an American or an American’t?
Are you a Hindu or a Hindon’t?
Are you an Indian or an Indiain’t?
Are you a Communist or a Communisn’t?
Are you an Illinoisan or an Illinoyance?
