Moving from Radio to Movable Type
Today I transferred all of my posts from Radio Userland to Movable Type, with surprisingly little difficulty, following directions at posted on the “Radio Free Blogistan” site. The Exporter tool for Radio worked like a charm.
For now I plan to concentrate on the “Timely Snow” site for some combination of personal and professional posts, although I may resume the strategy of having different sites for different aspects of my split personality.
I was able to put together a personalized banner fairly easily, and now I need to figure out how to personalize the page template and see what’s involved with using photos. So far so good,though.
